Frequently Asked Questions About Freediving
Let’s get them answered
Freediving is an ancient practice that allows us to explore the underwater world on a single breath, connecting with the ocean in a deeply immersive and exhilarating way.
While often seen as an extreme sport, it is actually more a journey of self-discovery and exploration, as we learn to control our breath, relax our bodies, and descend into the depths. Freediving offers a unique feeling of sense of freedom and tranquility as we dive through the water, surrounded by the beauty of the sea.
At its core, freediving is more than just a sport – it is a lifestyle. It is about embracing the unknown, pushing boundaries, and embracing the beauty of the underwater world.
Safety is super important, and with professional training from a qualified instructor you will lay the foundation for mastering breath control, equalization, and emergency procedures. Respecting your limits and following safety guidelines makes freediving a very safe experience.

Unlike scuba diving, freediving does not involve the use of breathing equipment like tanks and regulators. Freedivers rely on breath-holding techniques and snorkeling gear to explore the underwater world.
